"Pająki" are colorful, intricately crafted ornaments made of straw and tissue paper that have hung from the ceilings of rural rooms for centuries – symbolizing abundance, protecting the home, and bringing harmony.

During the workshop, you will learn how to make fluffy Kalinka pom-poms and, step by step, create your own "pająk", in a traditional version of your choice of colors or a festive Christmas one. You will learn the history and meaning of "pająki", discover how to combine colors and create harmonious compositions. You will leave the workshop with your own handmade "kalinka pająk" and inspiration to further explore Polish folk art.
