On May 29 we are back with another season of PURO Art Walks - this time also outside of Warsaw!
The first meeting will take place in Poznan and will be dedicated to the theme of balancing on the border - reaching for what has been abandoned and creating new narratives.
We will begin with a visit to the exhibition "Thinking of You" by Max Radawski and Martyna Pająk at Galeria Pani Domu – a story of in-betweenness, centered on resonance, exchange of experiences, and building shared space by softening boundaries.
The exhibition will be guided by Krzysztof Mętel and Mateusz Piestrak – artists and founders of the gallery – who will share their vision of an artist-run space and offer insight into their studios located within the gallery. They will talk about their experience of navigating between the roles of artist and curator.
We’ll conclude the walk with a visit to the studio of Natalia Karczewska – an artist working at the intersection of media and techniques. Through found objects, she explores peripheral topics, using the medium of memory to convey her message.
Date: May 29
Time: 5:30 PM
Meeting Point: Galeria Pani Domu, ul. Niegolewskich 7/7, Poznań
