PURO Art Walks: Warsaw

Join us on June 26 for the second walk of the season – and the first one in Warsaw! This upcoming event will focus on the theme of resistance: against mechanisms of power, the pressure to appear strong, and the feeling of alienation.
We will begin with a visit to the exhibition The Greatest Show by Alina Kleytman at Gunia Nowik Gallery, where the artist presents her latest works exploring experiences of violence, as well as mechanisms of control and survival in the face of conflict and crisis.
Next, we will head to the exhibition Floor Level by Lulù Nuti and Karolina Szwed at bliss gallery – a new space on the map of Warsaw’s art scene. This show reflects on the strength of vulnerability, the confrontation with social expectations, and ways of nurturing gentleness and sensitivity.
To conclude, we will visit the studio of Arman Galstyan – a Polish-Armenian artist whose work explores the experience of alienation and the process of opening up to one's identity through strategies of domestication.
Date: June 26
Time: 5:30 PM
Meeting point: PURO Warszawa Centrum, ul. Widok 9
Participation in the walk is free of charge, but the number of spots is limited.
Registration is required via email: art@purohotel.pl
